Architecture / Cultural / Hotel / Complex

The Liangzhu Living Room project is located in Liangzhu Sub-district, Yuhang District. Relying on the world cultural heritage value of the Liangzhu Site, it promotes in-depth dialogue between Chinese civilization and the diverse civilizations of the world, and builds a core carrier for practicing the Global Civilization Initiative. The project integrates core business formats such as conferences, exhibitions, hotels, and cultural experiences.

The main building is 142 meters long from north to south, 132 meters wide and 36 meters high, with four floors above ground and two floors underground. The exhibition hall covers an area of 5,000 square meters, and the conference area is 45,000 square meters (including the welcome and photo area, main venue, press conference hall, banquet hall, etc.).

The ancient Liangzhu tribe built their cities with rammed earth and high platforms as the foundation, which were simple and powerful. In the center of the conference center volume, a dreamy oasis quietly unfolds, with each space arranged around the garden. The conference hotel is connected by a long suspended walkway, which is like rough stones that have been cut and carved, presenting a warm and smooth texture like jade. Between the city and nature, it projects a warm and lively light like a bonfire.

The facade of the conference center is composed of two layers of mineral shells. The first layer has a smooth surface and is dotted with vibrant openings, which are composed of different three-dimensional trapezoidal modules, creating a fragmented effect on this pure shell. This first layer of "shell" allows one to catch a glimpse of the texture of the second layer of mineral material. It seems like a block being carved, with patterns and textures. Meanwhile, this layer also features ribbon-shaped openings that blend with the mineral layer, offering a wide field of vision and extending outward to create a rich sense of space.
